Folachade, her vision of Egis in 2050

Posting date: 27/08/24

We interviewed Folachade Lauriano, Project Manager, as part of a seminar that brought together some fifty young Egis talents to think about the Group's future in 2050 in the face of global challenges.

What is the biggest challenge we will face in 2050?

For me the biggest challenge of Egis would be to correctly move to the sustainable worlds for the future generations.

Which role would you like to play to contribute?

On my side, I would like to be part of the educational development of the youngest generation because as of today, I think working in a company who cares about the future help us to be aware of the challenges that need to be done. The new generation is more and more involved also on those challenges, but I think we can go further in this process and try to take actions to give example to the future generations so they can start earliest at possible to be part of this change, of this action.

What is the strongest asset Egis has?

For Egis, there are two strong assets, not only one: the first one would be for Egis to be present worldwide. We can have local insight of what are the issues of each region because they might be different depending on the region where we are. The second asset is the people working in Egis because, as we are worldwide, we have different competencies so from the investment up to the design, the operations, so we are fully integrated, and we could perform and be present in the entire chain of the challenges to be faced.
