About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Excavator Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, operating heavy machinery to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, and other materials.
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform excavation, trenching, and grading tasks according to project specifications
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to ensure accurate excavation
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Adapt to various soil conditions and apply appropriate excavation techniques
- Work in challenging environmental conditions, including hot climate
- Assist in other construction-related tasks as needed
What do we need from you
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an excavator operator, preferably in construction or mining projects
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid excavator operator certification
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in operating excavators and other heavy machinery
- Thorough knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in construction
- Basic mechanical skills for routine equipment maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Physical stamina and dexterity to work long hours in various weather conditions
- Understanding of construction processes and familiarity with local soil conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work in a hot climate and adapt to challenging environmental conditions
