We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Regional Accountant to join our finance team in Bengaluru, India. As a key member of our financial operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing accounting activities for our regional operations, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing valuable financial insights to support business decision-making.
- Manage and coordinate all accounting operations for the regional office, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the region
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and tax regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee budget preparation and forecasting for the regional office
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
- Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and practices
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA)
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on regional financial management
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and Indian accounting standards
- Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience in managing multi-currency transactions and consolidations
- In-depth understanding of Indian tax regulations and business practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and analytical thinking
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
