About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Specialist to join our sustainability team. The successful candidate will lead the assessment and reporting of embodied and operational carbon impacts across projects, support certification requirements (LEED, BREEAM Infrastructure, Mostadam, etc.), and contribute to our decarbonization strategies.

This role requires technical expertise in carbon accounting, familiarity with international certification systems, and proficiency with LCA tools such as One Click LCA.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver whole life cycle carbon assessments (embodied + operational carbon) for building and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct LEED-compliant LCAs and support credit documentation under LEED v4/v4.1 (MRc1: Building Life-Cycle Impact Reduction).
  • Carry out BREEAM Infrastructure (CEEQUAL) LCA studies, including option appraisals and materials benchmarking.
  • Support carbon reduction strategies through optioneering, design workshops, and material substitution studies.
  • Work closely with project teams (architects, engineers, contractors) to integrate low-carbon design solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of international carbon frameworks (EN 15978, ISO 14040/44, RICS, etc.).
  • Use One Click LCA to model and report results.
  • Prepare clear reports and presentations to communicate results and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
