About the Role

  • We are seeking   lead interface Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt to manage the interface and integration for a railway project. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the interface and integration activities, coordinating with different contractors, and reviewing the Interface / Integration deliverables, including the interface management plan, Interface register, Interface matrix, Interface control document etc....   

  • Collaborate with Contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve interface conflicts and optimize designs 

  • Ensure all interface designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and organizational standards 

  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations for interface optimization 

  • Maintain organized documentation and version control of all interface designs and specifications 


What do we need from you

  • Qualifications 

      

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with +10 years of professional experience in interface design and coordination between multiple engineering disciplines  

  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, MEP, Railway systems, and construction standards 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail 

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Familiarity with infrastructure design standards and building codes 

  • Preferred: Experience with advanced BIM software and project management tools 

  • Preferred: Knowledge of construction sequencing and logistics 

  • Preferred: Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
