As summer temperatures rise, protecting our workforce remains our top priority. That’s why we’ve launched a comprehensive safety initiative focused on heat stress awareness and prevention in the Middle East.

A real-life example of what is Egis Safety Attitude!  

What we've done to ensure our people's safety.

Key highlights include:

- Strict compliance with summer working hours: no outdoor work from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM to avoid the peak heat.

- Providing refillable water bottles to encourage regular hydration.

-  Running awareness campaigns on heat exhaustion, emphasizing rest, shade, and fluids.

-  A morale-boosting ice cream truck visit to brighten the day.

Practice is key! 

Additionally, our HSE team conducted a Heat Stress Mock Drill and Training for heavy equipment operators and flagmen at a Marine & Coastal Construction site. 

This drill prepared our teams to recognize heat-related illness early and respond swiftly, reinforcing our culture of safety excellence.
