About the Role

As a Senior Consultant (Infrastructure Advisory) within the Egis Advisory business, you will be responsible for consultancy, policy and strategy evaluations and solutions for major infrastructure projects. Joining Egis means you will have the opportunity to work on projects nationally and internationally.

We are excited to be expanding our business in South Australia, recently being engaged in state, local government and private sector opportunities with a focus on advisory, systems engineering, asset management, defence, water and urban development.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Manage and lead a range of complex medium to large projects nationally
  • Being a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to support the successful delivery of projects through all life stages
  • Work with consultants across the business and/or project professionals to meet client and project requirements
  • Ensure work is executed within the agreed budget, strategies are developed to effectively manage variations and quality of work outcomes exceed client expectations
  • Develop and implement project recommendations that are feasible within budget and time constraints
  • Identify potential new clients and support preparation of bids and tender submissions
  • Supervise, mentor and support junior Consultants and Graduates, as required

What do we need from you

Ideally, you will have over 5 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role within a matrix consultancy environment. In addition, you will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline are preferred (science and commerce combo degree is also similarly relevant)
  • Demonstrated expertise in a project delivery role within a consultancy environment, supporting multiple projects at any given time.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure-related projects of scale, nationally and internationally.
  • Expertise in full-lifecycle project management of complex medium to large-scale projects.
  • Interest in remaining abreast of emerging technologies related to infrastructure, ESG etc
  • Desire to further career and mentor junior consultants and graduates.
  • Confident to work autonomously with limited guidance.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical and technical mindset.
