About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Civil Engineer – Water to join our team.

This role is ideal for an engineer with 8+ years’ experience who is passionate about water infrastructure and has achieved (or is working towards) Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status. You’ll lead the design and delivery of 3-waters projects – from master planning through to detailed design and construction – with a focus on pipelines, pump stations and stormwater networks.

Your day-to-day will see you:

  • Acting as the key client contact, building strong and lasting relationships.

  • Managing budgets, timelines and resources to deliver quality outcomes.

  • Collaborating across disciplines to align with client goals, regulations and best practice.

  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.

  • Applying your technical skills in hydraulics, stormwater runoff, pipeline and pump station design.

  • Using software such as Civil 3D, 12D, InfoWorks, HEC-HMS and GIS tools (QGIS/ArcGIS) to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes.

  • Staying up to date with industry trends, embracing digital tools to drive efficiency and uncovering new opportunities through your network.

  • Helping solve complex challenges across land development, transport and flood management.

This role offers the opportunity to combine technical leadership, project delivery and client engagement while growing your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What do we need from you

  • 8+ years’ experience in civil engineering, ideally within water infrastructure.

  • A degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).

  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status, or working towards.

  • Strong experience in hydraulics, stormwater networks, and pump station/pipeline design.

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, 12D, InfoWorks, HEC-HMS and GIS tools (QGIS/ArcGIS preferred).

  • Demonstrated project management capability – budgets, timelines and resource management.

  • A collaborative, hands-on approach with strong communication and client engagement skills.
