About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor - Site to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction projects, you will be responsible for managing costs, contracts, and financial aspects of our site-based operations. 

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, and equipment
  • Conduct on-site measurements and quantity take-offs to ensure precision in cost calculations
  • Analyze contract documents, drawings, and specifications to identify potential cost implications
  • Manage contract administration, including change orders, variations, and claims
  • Prepare and review interim and final payment applications
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to optimize project costs
  • Monitor project budgets and forecast cash flow requirements
  • Prepare regular cost reports and financial statements for management review
  • Assist in the resolution of contractual and financial disputes
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in site-based quantity surveying
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft)
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Experience in cost estimation, contract administration, and project management
  • Understanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and UAE construction laws
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
