We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Civil Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of civil engineering projects throughout the region.
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections of civil engineering works, including infrastructure, buildings, and utilities, to ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications to verify that work is being executed according to design requirements.
- Perform detailed quality control checks on materials, workmanship, and construction methods throughout all project phases.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, including photographic documentation and detailed observations of site conditions and construction progress.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve any non-conformities or quality issues identified during inspections.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on inspection findings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, building codes, and inspection techniques to ensure best practices are consistently applied.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects and quality control.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control practices.
- Experience working in the GCC region, with familiarity of local building codes and regulations (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Physical capability to perform site inspections in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
