Join our Urban Development team as a Civil Engineer! In this opportunity, you will focus on delivering comprehensive design and documentation for land development and civil infrastructure projects. With a strong portfolio of award-winning projects in hand across South East QLD, our team continues to grow and we'd love for you to join us!
You will be responsible for
- Deliver and manage Civil and Infrastructure designs within broad acre greenfield and brownfield redevelopment
- Design of major and minor drainage infrastructure with an understanding of hydrological principles with appropriate water management and treatments
- Deliver and manage water and sewer designs in accordance with SEQ Water standards
- Prepare relevant servicing and development reports
- Work closely with the other members of the Urban Development team and sub-consultants
- Fostering relationships with current and potential clients building on your existing networks to generate new business
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a civil engineer within a consultancy environment with demonstrated knowledge of land development and/or infrastructure projects local to QLD. In addition, you will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Valid full drivers license
- A thorough understanding of civil design principles pertaining to land development, storm water, civil infrastructure, roads and/or mining/resources
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and ability to run projects within budget and on time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements and business development opportunities
