Egis Projects Philippines Inc (EPPI) provide services to private sector entities involved in the business of building, operating or managing roadways, railways, and other transportation infrastructure projects.
As part of the Software Development Center, you collaborate with both functional and technical stakeholders to define and improve the user experience and user interfaces of our software. You will be working on the MLFF (Multi Lane Free Flow tolling) project.
In this position, you will :
- Coordinate with the Product Owner to:
- Develop deep understanding of MLFF users and the problems MLFF solution must solve for them.
- Develop great understanding of the end-to-end journey users take when interacting with the MLFF
- Ensure the MLFF solution solves a whole problem for the user collaborating across all user journey stages
- Ensure consistency across all user communication channels
- Meet with clients’ functional team to translate and challenge their high-level requirements and ideas into the best user experience and user interfaces.
- Based on inputs and your expertise, you will wireframe, prototype, and design blueprints for what our products (web base, app based & BI reports) will look like.
- Work closely with software and testing engineers, to ensure the UI implementation meets clients expectations and projects scope.
- Remain “customer-centric” oriented and leverage feedback for continuous improvement.
Ideal candidates would have experience with :
- Gathering functional UX/UI requirements.
- Be a driving force during UI/UX conception workshops.
- UX/UI design and conception : Specification writing & drawing.
- Client facing with operational teams.
- Internal facing with software engineers.
In order to fulfill this role, the candidate must also be an autonomous, open-minded and creative team player. Good time management and project management skills are a must.
Duties and responsibilities
- Accountable for UX/UI design activity, from requirements workshops and specifications to final design validation, in collaboration with clients, Product owner and engineering teams.
- Ensures that UX/UI features and enhancements fall within the project scope and meet acceptance criteria.
Education and experience
- Master’s degree in Human-computer interaction, software design, computer science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an UX/UI engineer
Required skills and qualifications
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Expert in UX/UI blueprint & design : wireframes, prototypes to the final design.
- Ability to understand high level requirements and translate them into solutions.
- UI/UX specification writing.
- Highly autonomous and eager to be a driving force in the UX/UI design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
