About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tunnel System and Integration Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration and management of complex tunnel systems for our roads operations and maintenance (O&M) projects.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and integration of tunnel systems, including ventilation, traffic management, and fire and life safety systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, integration plans, and operational procedures
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of various tunnel subsystems
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for tunnel operations
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of tunnel systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies and contractors, to ensure compliance with local and international tunnel safety standards
- Manage budgets and resources for tunnel system projects and ongoing maintenance activities
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in tunnel systems and integration
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and project stakeholders
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in tunnel systems and integration
- Proven experience in roads operations and maintenance (O&M)
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams
- Extensive knowledge of tunnel ventilation systems, traffic management systems, fire and life safety systems, and SCADA systems
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with risk assessment and management in tunnel operations
- Thorough understanding of relevant local and international tunnel safety standards and regulations
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Willingness to work in Doha, Qatar, and adapt to local work culture
