About the Role

Toll Technician is responsible for the repairs of all toll collection equipment. Responding to maintenance requests regarding system defects and other issues, isolation and trouble shooting any toll collection system related problem. Support warehouse team for the ins and outs of inventory for the hardware.

  • Strategy and Planning
    • Assist FOE Manager, Supervisor and FOE Engineer's in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures, for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring the toll collections systems equipment performance.
    • Assist FOE Manager, supervisor and FOE Engineer's to accurately document any hardware and software failure, repair, installation, and dismantling. Inventory monitoring of defective items related to toll collections system for warranty purposes.
    • Assist FOE Manager and FOE team in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future hardware needs
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hardware and software of toll equipment contracts and supervise contract-based installations.
    • Required also to learn the hardware equipment, competent to read Plans, diagrams, use of diagnostics software, and competent to use of all tools for the toll collection systems
    • Required to monitor all equipment calibration
    • Required to respond onsite troubleshooting and analysis.
  • Operations
    • Work with end users to identify and deliver required Hardware service levels
    • Provide training and support to end users and staff on computer operation and other issues

What do we need from you

Minimum Qualification:

  • Electrical or Electronics course with experience in operation and maintenance.
  • Basic level in software installation
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) — basic level.
  • Adherence to work schedule.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in Point of Sale set up and maintenance
  • With experience in any short-range RFID such as access controls, Credit cards reader, Parking systems, and residential village RFID system
  • Know how to use electrical and electronics hand tools and measuring tools
  • Knowledgeable with at least layer 2 network switches
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, OEM guides, Plans / layout and Network diagrams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Self-motivated and with leadership skills
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
