The Role:
- Prepare detailed civil and telecommunications drawings using AutoCAD, 12d or MicroStation.
- Produce design packages for telecommunications networks
- Create IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and documentation.
- Draft civil layouts, trenching plans, conduit alignments, pit locations, and construction details.
- Update and maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
- Incorporate survey information, utility data, and design mark-ups into final drawings.
- Ensure drafting outputs comply with client standards, Australian Standards and company drafting procedures.
- Assist Telecommunications Designers and Project Managers with project documentation and design revisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and external authorities throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate drawing updates throughout project lifecycles.
- Assist Telecommunication Designers with site assessments and scoping as required
Experience Required
- Certificate or Diploma or equivalent qualification in drafting, civil design, or related discipline
- AutoCAD, 12d, MicroStation, or similar design software
- Road, Civil or Utility infrastructure projects
- Experience working with utilities, network operators, councils, or government agencies
- Knowledge of civil construction methodologies are an advantage
- A commitment to providing high-quality results
- Be self-managed with the ability to work independently
- Current drivers’ license.
