The Technical Support Officer (TST3) will assist in providing technical support to Civil Aviation Department on air traffic control and airport related systems, as well as their related supporting IT facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out technical support on design review, installation, upgrading, testing, commissioning and integration of all ANS Equipment in 3RS systems;
- Carry out trials, drills, parallel-run and shadowing for the 3RS systems Implementation;
- Carry out transition, cutover, and maintenance of the 3RS systems as well as uninstallation and decommissioning of the replaced/obsoleted systems; and
- Carry out any other duties related to the Technical Support (TS) services as directed.
Education and Experience
- Diploma/Certificate holder in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Engineering, Computer Science or other related disciplines or equivalent; with at least one (1) year of working experience in aviation field;
- Previous experience in implementing or managing or maintaining data network or air traffic control systems for international airport(s) is an advantage.
- Previous Certificiation on Air Traffic Safety Electronic Personnel (ATSEP) is an advantage.

- An ambitious personality, capable of achieving with strong commitment to deliver designated tasks.
- A good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent practical knowledge in workplace safety.
- Good spoken and written English is a must.
- Cantonese and/or Chinese Mandarin is an advantage.
- Possess a valid Hong Kong Driving Licence is an advantage.
- May work in shift/irregular duty including Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and overnight shift as required.
- May work out doored as required.
- Good presentation skills
