The Government of Indonesia plans to implement the Indonesia Mass Transit Project with a view to addressing the critical mobility needs of Indonesian cities and improving livability. The Project will cover institutional and capacity development and assistance with the development of a national program of assistance for mass transit in Indonesian cities, and investments in road-based mass transit systems in Bandung Basin Metropolitan Area (BBMA) and Mebidang (Kota Medan, Kota Binjai, Deli Serdang Regency).
The Team Leader is responsible for the overall performance of the Team. His principal duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Update the mobilization schedule in accordance with the progress of the project and the budget.
• Organize the work of all the experts’ team on the project. Plan the task to do and coordinate the tasks with the other experts.
• Provide assistance to the experts with the clients and the stakeholders.
• Delegate duties/tasks, as appropriate, to members of the Team
• Ensure that the Team provide the services required in accordance with the contract the contract.
• Organise and participate in project reviews, as per the Egis quality system.
• Issue reports, deliverables and documents in accordance with the contract.
• Liaise with the Client on matters relating the technical part of the contract.
• Support technically the team.
• Regular report to management (Project Manager/Project Director)
- Must have a Master Degree or above in related discipline;
- To meet donor requirements, must have at least fifteen (15) years general experience in Public Transport planning and design is his/her home country and with at least one (1) other country
- At least five (5) years experience as a team leader/project manager in project planning and development work for fully functional bus rapid transit (BRT) projects with proven performance;
- Your experience should include in developing countries, and at least one BRT project outside of Asia
