- Prepares, reviews and ensuring timely filing of tax returns across MESA
- Assisting with Tax accounting/ direct & indirect tax compliance/ transfer pricing health checks across the region
- Handling monthly tax account reconciliations, deferred tax calculations and related tax accounting topics
- Working with Local finance teams to assist prepare support for tax audits
- Assists with provisioning for uncertain tax positions and related interest calculation. Assisting with implementing risk mitigation measures
- Preparing monthly/annual/quarterly tax reporting requirements
- Working with legal to put in place Intercompany agreements support as required
- Assist with researching and drafting memorandum involving complex tax matters, impact assessments and latest legislative changes to be communicated to stakeholders
- Assist with preparation of training materials, presentations for management, and other reporting requirements
- Working with legal to put in place Intercompany agreements support as required
- Assist in reviewing tax clauses in agreements with both related party and third-party stakeholders
- Assisting with Oracle Implementation of tax module across Middle East and South Asia
- Requires minimum 6-7 years’ experience in tax accounting and compliance
- Candidates with MNC/ Industry background/ experience preferred. Experience with Big 4 is an added advantage
- Indian/ International taxation laws and regulations is essential. Knowledge of MENA/ Asia Pacific is an added advantage.
- Strong tax accounting knowledge to reconcile tax accounts/payments.
- Strong MS Excel and MS power point skills
- Good organisational skills to help with project management and maintain updated records of all tax filings, audits and payments
- Fluent English speaker. Knowledge of French or Arabic would be an added advantage
- Qualified Chartered accountant
- Other tax related qualifications is an added advantage
