Egis is a leading global architectural, consulting, construction engineering, operations and mobility services firm. We create and operate intelligent infrastructure and buildings that respond to the climate emergency and contribute to balanced, sustainable and resilient development. Our 22,000 employees operate across more than 100 countries, deploying their expertise to develop and deliver cutting-edge innovations for clients worldwide.
In Europe, we are delivering some of the most complex and high-profile infrastructure and energy projects — and we are on a significant growth trajectory. With plans to double Group revenue over the next four years, we are investing purposefully in the people, technology, and systems to support this ambition.
This is where you come in.
We are at an inflection point. The engineering competencies shaping our projects tomorrow — in digital twins, AI-augmented design, clean energy, and data-driven infrastructure — are evolving fast. We need a Talent Acquisition leader who doesn’t just fill roles. We need someone who anticipates the talent landscape, champions technology-driven hiring, and builds the pipelines that will power Egis’s next chapter.
As Talent Acquisition Specialist, Europe, based in Poland, you will take full accountability for recruitment strategy, , employer branding, and delivery performance across the region. You will serve as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, ensure our hiring practices are future-focused and inclusive, and build a scalable recruitment operation capable of supporting the business as it grows.
You will be the primary architect of how Egis attracts, engages, and secures engineering and technical talent across Europe — with a sharp eye on where competencies are heading, not just where they are today.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Workforce Anticipation
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Europe recruitment strategy aligned to business growth plans and workforce needs across all business lines.
- Anticipate the evolution of technical and engineering competencies driven by digital transformation, AI adoption, energy transition, and project complexity — translating these insights into proactive talent pipelines and future capability strategies.
- Partner with the Europe Executive team, HRBPs, and Group Talent Acquisition to anticipate hiring demands and shape proactive, skills-based resourcing strategies.
- Support workforce planning efforts in partnership with HRBPs and business leaders, ensuring recruitment supports long-term capability building across engineering disciplines.
AI-Driven Operational Excellence & Process Innovation
- Champion the adoption of AI-powered recruitment tools across sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and analytics — staying ahead of emerging technologies to continuously evolve the TA operating model.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and technology solutions to optimise efficiency and scalability across the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Oversee all recruitment operations in Europe, ensuring consistency, compliance, and high standards of candidate and stakeholder experience.
- Drive a direct-sourcing-first approach to reduce reliance on agencies and improve cost-per-hire metrics.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders across Europe for all matters related to recruitment performance, priorities, and market intelligence.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies with project and organisational needs.
- Report regularly to Europe leadership on hiring progress, risks, and market insights — translating data into clear strategic recommendations.
Data, Analytics & Compliance
- Own recruitment reporting and analytics across Europe, producing monthly dashboards highlighting key metrics (time to hire, source mix, diversity, quality of hire, cost-per-hire).
- Leverage data and predictive analytics to inform decision-making and provide strategic talent market insights to business leaders.
- Ensure full compliance with European employment laws — including Polish labour law — internal policies, and audit requirements.
Employer Branding & Market Positioning
- Lead employer branding efforts across Europe to position Egis as an employer of choice for top engineering and technical talent in key markets, including Poland.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to develop targeted attraction campaigns and recruitment content that resonates with engineering audiences.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, evolving skill sets, and talent availability to ensure our offering remains competitive and future-ready.
Acquisition & Integration Support
- Play a key role in integrating newly acquired businesses into Egis’s recruitment model, ensuring cultural alignment and consistency of process.
- Develop recruitment readiness plans for new entities and support the onboarding of local recruitment teams where applicable.
Essential
- 5–8 years’ experience in recruitment leadership, ideally within a complex, technical, or engineering-led organisation, with hands-on experience hiring technical and engineering profiles.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and automation in recruitment workflows — including AI-assisted sourcing, intelligent screening, or predictive talent analytics.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate workforce capability needs and translate them into forward-looking talent acquisition strategies.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven track record of influencing at senior and executive levels in a matrixed environment.
- In-depth understanding of European employment law, compliance, and recruitment best practices, including knowledge of the Polish labour market.
- Proficient in using recruitment data and analytics to drive performance, decision-making, and business insight.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-scaling, international organisation.
- Professional fluency in English required; Polish fluency strongly preferred.
Highly Desirable
- Deep knowledge of the Europe engineering talent market and competitive landscape.
- Experience with AI-assisted recruitment platforms (e.g. HireEZ, Paradox, Beamery, Eightfold, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with SmartRecruiters or a comparable ATS.
- Background in infrastructure, engineering, energy, or construction sectors.
- Experience supporting M&A integration from a talent acquisition perspective.
Why This Role?
If you are energised by building something at scale — if you believe AI is fundamentally reshaping how great engineering teams are assembled — and if you want to play a defining role in one of Europe’s most ambitious infrastructure companies, we want to hear from you.
At Egis, you won’t just be filling vacancies. You will be shaping the talent architecture of a company that is building the infrastructure of tomorrow.
