We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Inspector for our Port Project in Kuwait. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our port construction project through effective project management, construction supervision, and quality control.
- Conduct detailed site surveys and inspections throughout all phases of the port construction project
- Perform design reviews and provide technical input to optimize project plans and specifications
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Utilize advanced survey equipment and techniques to collect and analyze data for project planning and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, including detailed findings, recommendations, and supporting documentation
- Review and validate contractor's survey data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies
- Participate in project meetings and provide expert advice on survey-related matters
- Ensure adherence to local and international construction codes and regulations throughout the project lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in survey inspection, preferably in port or marine construction projects
- Proficiency in using advanced survey equipment and techniques
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Expertise in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of GIS software is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to challenging project conditions
