We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer specialising in rail projects to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, analysing, and overseeing structural aspects of rail infrastructure projects.
- Develop and review structural designs for rail infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, and stations • Perform complex structural calculations and analyses using advanced engineering software • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of structural designs with other engineering disciplines • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
- Ensure compliance with local and international structural design codes and safety standards • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers • Participate in project planning and risk assessment activities • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to resolve technical issues • Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural engineering and rail technology
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in structural engineering, with a focus on rail projects
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices specific to rail infrastructure
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- In-depth understanding of rail systems and infrastructure components
