- Reviewing all aspects of site preparation and temporary works construction onsite for conformance with contract documents
Enforcing the relevant safety rules at site and monitoring all aspects of the work for compliance with security, health and safety requirements.
Conducting daily briefing with site team leaders to follow-up and report on the work progress in order to anticipate any possible delays with regards to planned tasks
Taking immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation and recover the delay to finish the task in due time
Assisting the Project Manager in the supervision and management of construction activities to assigned project
Assisting in the planning and sequencing of the construction operations according to the Project Quality Plan
Conducting regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors
Evaluating and resolving any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of works performed
Taking responsibility for the coordinating of structural works with other disciplines
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or construction related discipline
Minimum 12 years experience as Structural Engineer on site or supervision with large-scale civil projects
In depth knowledge of concrete repairs, load testing, strengthening of foundations, columns jacketing, rebar extensions, etc.
Excellent command of English Language (reading, writing and speaking)
