About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer - BIM Coordinator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the structural design process and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation for large-scale construction projects.

  • Develop and review structural designs for complex building projects
  • Coordinate BIM processes and workflows across multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure the integration of structural designs with other building systems using BIM software
  • Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between different building systems
  • Create and maintain BIM execution plans and standards
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize building designs
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on BIM models and structural designs
  • Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software and best practices
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and industry trends
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi building codes and regulations throughout the design process

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination
  • Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and Navisworks
  • Strong skills in structural analysis software (SAP2000, Etabs, SAFE, etc.) and AutoCAD
  • Excellent 3D modeling capabilities
  • BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi building codes and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of Relevant International building codes and regulations (ACI318, ASCE, AISC, IBC, etc.) 
  • Understanding of construction methodologies and practices in the Middle East
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
