We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Storekeeper to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining an organized storage facility. This role is crucial in supporting our operations by effectively controlling the flow of materials and supplies.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using digital systems
- Issue materials and supplies as per departmental requirements
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storage area
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to management
- Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete items
- Assist in implementing and improving inventory management processes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the storage area
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required
- Basic math skills for inventory calculations and reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in implementing and improving inventory control processes
- Diploma or Certificate in Storekeeping, Supply Chain, or related discipline (preferred)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in storage facilities
- Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and inventory management systems
