We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Surveyor specialising in Railways to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for conducting precise surveys and measurements for railway projects throughout the region.
- Perform detailed site surveys for railway infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international standards
- Utilise advanced surveying equipment and techniques to collect and analyse topographic data
- Prepare comprehensive survey reports, including maps, plans, and technical drawings using CAD software
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide crucial survey data for project planning and execution
- Conduct regular quality checks and calibrations of surveying equipment to maintain accuracy
- Analyse survey results and provide recommendations for optimal railway alignment and construction
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations whilst working on-site
- Stay updated with the latest surveying technologies and methodologies in the railway sector
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Professional surveying certification (RICS) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in railway surveying or a related field wokring with an international engineering consultant.
- Proficiency in using modern surveying equipment and techniques
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and GIS systems
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of railway infrastructure and systems
- Familiarity with local and international surveying standards and regulations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and maps
- Willingness to work in various locations across Riyadh and surrounding areas
- Capability to work effectively in hot climate conditions
