About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
- Interpret and implement project plans, technical drawings, and specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and progress updates
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines
- Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes and regulations
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- UAE Professional Engineering License
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction or civil engineering projects
- Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD or similar CAD software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, regulations, and local construction practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken)
- UAE National citizenship is required for this position
