About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our team in Qena, Egypt. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Manage and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion
  • Develop and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and local regulations
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
  • Monitor project progress and prepare detailed status reports
  • Implement quality control measures and safety protocols on construction sites
  • Liaise with local authorities for necessary permits and approvals
  • Analyse and interpret technical data to make informed decisions
  • Optimise project efficiency through effective resource allocation and scheduling
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site
  • Manage project budgets and control costs
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in construction

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in construction projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
  • Strong project management skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Egypt
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on efficiency and organisation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed within the Qena area
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction materials and methods
  • Experience with cost estimation and budgeting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
