About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing civil and structural-related projects, ensuring efficient execution and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in the management of civil and structural-related sites, overseeing day-to-day operations and project progress
- Support project and estimation teams with civil-related activities across various projects
- Determine project costs by calculating labor, material, and other related expenses
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports and present them to project stakeholders
- Execute projects based on outlined criteria, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines
- Review and interpret government regulations and ordinances to ensure compliance
- Monitor and optimize safety procedures and production processes on-site
- Perform interdisciplinary coordination, raise RFIs, and prepare need lists for efficient project execution
- Participate in constructability workshops and design reviews to enhance project efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve project outcomes
- Implement innovative solutions to overcome challenges and optimize project performance
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 4-5 years of experience in infrastructure maintenance or related field
- Valid UAE Driving License
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- In-depth understanding of safety procedures and regulatory compliance in construction
- Experience in cost estimation and budget management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
- Proficiency in preparing detailed technical reports and presentations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization
