About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team for a Bridge Maintenance Project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of bridge maintenance activities, overseeing on-site operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Oversee daily bridge maintenance operations and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential structural issues
- Develop and implement maintenance plans in accordance with project specifications and local regulations
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor and report on project progress, budget, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, and other project documentation
- Utilize AutoCAD or similar software for creating and modifying engineering drawings
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on bridge maintenance projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, bridge structures, and maintenance techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
- Excellent project management skills and experience with on-site project coordination
- Familiarity with local building codes and construction regulations in Abu Dhabi
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
