We are seeking a talented and experienced Signalling Engineer to join our Railway Engineering Design Center. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in railway signalling design and engineering. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to major railway projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful integration of signalling systems.
- Develop and review railway signalling designs, including scheme designs, interlocking, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant railway signalling standards and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, including trackwork, civil, and systems engineering teams, to ensure seamless project integration.
- Prepare technical documentation, including signalling plans, block diagrams, and system specifications.
- Support the development of signalling schemes, from concept design to detailed engineering.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and safety case development.
- Provide technical support for installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to address technical queries and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in railway Signalling design and engineering.
- Knowledge of railway signalling design, principles, interlocking systems, and control systems.
- Familiarity with international railway signalling standards (e.g., CENELEC, AREMA, IEC, or equivalent).
- Understanding of system assurance, safety integrity levels (SIL), and human factors in signalling design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working on MRT, LRT, or high-speed rail projects is a plus.
- Experience in heavy rail, CBI and ETCS Level 1 and 2 is a plus.
