We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Utility Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising utility systems for building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive project success and ensure optimal utility system performance.
- Lead and supervise utility engineering teams for building and infrastructure projects
- Develop and implement utility system designs, including water, electricity, gas, and telecommunications
- Oversee construction and installation of utility systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks throughout project lifecycle
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate utility integration
- Analyze and optimize utility system performance, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for management and clients
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources related to utility systems
- Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in utility engineering
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience and 2 years as Senior Utility Engineer, with a focus on building and infrastructure projects
- Valid membership with the Kuwait Society Engineers (KSE)
- Proven track record in construction supervision and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to utility systems
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability practices in utility design
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Outstanding leadership and communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Kuwait, is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to local practices
