- Oversees the design review and integration for railway telecom systems components/sub-systems, within the project time schedule.
- Perform control engineering activities for one or several functions from architecture to detailed specification, interface and functional principle.
- Coordinate and oversee the installation, T&C telecom infrastructure.
- Acting as a key member of the systems team and providing project status information, analysis and technical recommendations to the systems manager.
- Contribute to the technical coordination of integrating, interface telecom systems with other systems within the overall project framework.
- Monitor and assess the efficiency of contractor processes and procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to project requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare reports for the design status, site work progress and FAT/SAT tests results.
- Conduct and manage technical of contractor submissions, change requests, and variations.
- Prepare and distribute reports for management, clients, and stakeholders as required.
- Participate all aspects of the telecom design review process within the consultant’s organization
- Conduct design review of structural elements in a thorough and timely manner
- Support project team on technical issues on site till closure.
- Bachelor's degree in communications / electronic engineering.
- General overall experience (15) years including: 10 years of professional experience in the same field. 5 years of experience in management and implementation of similar projects (i.e. metro, rail) and in a similar position.
- He/She will have knowledge of the main railway systems used in the metro and the safety requirements for the designs, according to international standards and accepted best practice.
- Master's degree in similar field is a plus.
- PMP certified is a plus.
- Arabic: Native proficiency would be an advantage
- English: Bilingual proficiency
