About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will lead and manage complex structural engineering projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation in our construction initiatives throughout the Kingdom.
- Oversee structural engineering aspects of large-scale construction projects from design to completion
- Develop and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings for various building types and infrastructure projects
- Conduct structural analyses and assessments to ensure compliance with local building codes and international standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, MEP, Civil , Landscape and other engineers to optimize project outcomes
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Prepare and present technical reports, structural analyses, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovative construction techniques, and local building regulations
- Implement and maintain safety protocols on construction sites
- Participate in business development activities and client meetings as needed
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
- 7 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects
- Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro)
- In-depth understanding of building codes and standards (e.g., SBC, ACI, AISC, Eurocode, etc.)
- Familiarity with local building regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly
- Proven experience in construction supervision and on-site problem-solving
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and geotechnical engineering principles
- Detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to quality and safety
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel to various construction sites within Saudi Arabia as required
