We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead and deliver structural design works for complex infrastructure and technical buildings. The role involves the design of reinforced concrete and steel structures, underground water tanks, and heavy-equipment buildings, with strong emphasis on constructability, coordination, and multidisciplinary integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design from concept, preliminary, developed, detailed, to IFC stages for buildings and underground structures.
- Design reinforced concrete and steel structures including technical buildings, equipment foundations, water retention tanks, pump stations, and ancillary structures.
- Develop structural schemes considering high groundwater levels, heavy equipment loads, vibration, and durability requirements.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, and detailed drawings in accordance with international standards.
- Design foundations including isolated footings, raft foundations, piles, secant pile shoring, and retaining systems as required by site conditions.
- Coordinate closely with architectural, MEP, geotechnical, and construction teams to ensure structural feasibility and clash-free design.
- Lead structural Revit modelling, review BIM outputs, and ensure alignment between analytical models and construction drawings.
- Review geotechnical reports and incorporate soil parameters into foundation and shoring design.
- Provide technical input during design workshops, resolve structural interface issues, and support construction methodology development.
- Review contractor and vendor structural submissions and provide support during construction, as required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 12–18 years of experience in structural design for buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in reinforced concrete and steel design, including underground tanks and water-retaining structures.
- Strong experience with structural analysis and design software.
- Excellent Revit structural modelling skills with experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
- Solid understanding of international design codes (ACI, Eurocode, BS, EN, AISC, etc.).
- Experience in viaducts, bridges, tunnels, or metro infrastructure is a major advantage.
- Strong technical judgment, coordination skills, and ability to lead design deliverables.
