About the Role
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural BIM Coordinator to join our team in Amman. In this pivotal role, you will lead the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for structural engineering projects, ensuring seamless integration of structural designs with other disciplines.
This role is part of a dynamic, multinational team distributed across Riyadh, Amman, Bangalore, and Cairo. The successful candidate will contribute to high-profile projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider region, supporting the delivery of complex structural systems with a focus on design excellence, quality, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage BIM coordination for complex structural engineering projects
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, workflows, and best practices for the structural team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts and optimize building performance
- Create and manage 3D structural models using advanced BIM software
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of structural BIM models
- Provide technical support and mentorship to BIM Technicians/ BIM Engineers
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
- Participate in project meetings and present BIM-related updates to stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging BIM technologies and industry trends
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in structural BIM coordination
- Advanced proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and Navisworks
- BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred
- Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction processes
- Strong 3D modeling and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven project management and problem-solving skills
- Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial projects
- In-depth understanding of industry standards and best practices in BIM implementation
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
