- Conduct site surveys and coordinate with relevant institutions, agencies, and stakeholders to assess the potential impacts of road projects on local infrastructure, land use, and the surrounding environment.
- Develop and evaluate design alternatives for alignment, considering factors such as geometry, access requirements, traffic flow, environmental impacts, and future growth; to identify the most efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solution.
- Design horizontal and vertical alignments, including determining bend radii, slopes, elevations, and cross-section profiles, ensuring compliance with all relevant technical standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Create three-dimensional models of the design, incorporating alignments, profiles, and cross-sections to ensure accurate integration of design elements and precise project execution.
- Perform detailed geometric analysis of road design, optimizing road geometry and layout to improve safety, functionality, and long-term performance while addressing environmental concerns.
- Calculate earthwork volumes, including cut and fill quantities, and prepare comprehensive reports for budget estimation, material planning, and scheduling. Proactively identify cost-saving measures without compromising design quality
