About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our construction and infrastructure projects, you will be responsible for managing costs, contracts, and financial aspects of large-scale developments in the region.

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for complex construction projects
  • Manage and control project costs throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Oversee procurement processes and contract management, ensuring compliance with local regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement value engineering strategies
  • Monitor project performance and prepare comprehensive financial reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including asset management, operations, and maintenance
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Implement sustainable practices and contribute to corporate social responsibility initiatives
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quantity surveying and cost management

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on Rail, infrastructure and civil engineering projects
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction regulations, procurement practices, and industry standards
  • Proven track record in cost estimating, budgeting, and financial reporting for large-scale projects in the Middle East
  • Strong understanding of contract management, particularly NEC contracts and public procurement regulations
  • Familiarity with asset management principles and lifecycle costing in infrastructure projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in financial and project management software, including Microsoft Excel and Project
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse stakeholders
  • Experience working in multicultural environments and adapting to local business practices
  • Professional certification such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) membership is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
