Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the project stages from Design, Construction and T&C stages dealing with all aspects related to the project. He will work closely with design teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure the successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process, ensuring alignment with project goals, client requirements, and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and creative specialists, to create cohesive and compelling design concepts
- Manage design schedules, budgets, and resources effectively
- Review and evaluate design proposals, providing feedback and guidance to design teams
- Oversee and manage the production of design deliverables, including drawings, renderings, and models
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and accessibility requirements
- Monitor and manage design changes and scope variations, implementing effective change control processes
- Coordinate with external consultants and vendors to integrate specialized design elements into the overall project.
- Implement the Project Execution Plan.
- Identify areas for improvement in project delivery plans and implement action plans accordingly
- Manage a project / project section and drive the achievement of quality, programme and budget targets
- Assist in the administration of the Construction Contracts
- Manage Value Engineering workshops
- Conduct regular progress updates with the Planning Manager
- Provide valuable input into the assessment and adjudication of Contractor Delay Claims
- Inspire confidence and trust in interactions with Clients and key stakeholders
- Conduct meetings, produce minutes and drive outcomes
- Manage and motivate multi-disciplined teams and colleagues
- Participate in the Procurement process
- Provide detailed input for the monthly and other reports and make recommendations
- Anticipate problems before they arise and develop mitigation plans
- Participate in Risk analysis workshops
- Manage the Commissioning and Close-Out of a project
- Other project management duties as assigned by the Project Director
- 20 years’ experience in Design & Construction process and stages, and minimum of 5 years in PMC role.
- MRICS or CIOB required
- Degree in Engineering
