About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Manager to join our team in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive our organisation's success in the oil and gas industry.

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategic plans aligned with organisational goals
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation across multiple departments
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Analyse complex data sets to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of planning processes
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on project progress and performance
  • Mentor and develop junior planning staff to build a high-performing team
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and identify growth opportunities

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in planning or a related field, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Proven track record of successful strategic planning and project management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced planning tools
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry operations, regulations, and supply chain management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desirable
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills advantageous
  • Willingness to work in Khafji, Saudi Arabia, and travel as needed
