About Us

The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works.

The role is based with the project at Old Oak Common, West London for 3 days a week. 


About the Role

As a key role on the Project, the Senior Planner is responsible for carrying out planning duties across the Old Oak Common project for MEP packages as guided by the Lead Planner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry Out project planning associated with this MEPHFC package including timely submission of clause 32 programmes and addressing programme comments from BBV to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure a robust programme is maintained and followed for the delivery of works.
  • Submit clause 32 programmes and ensure all associated deliverables are issued to the client each month in accordance with the contractual timescales.
  • Support the Lead Planner to produce and submit Programme communications on CEMAR and manage the regular follow up discussions with the client team to ensure Anthro maintains an accepted programme throughout the duration of the project.
  • Address Programme comments from the client in each programme and ensure programmes are re-submitted within the contractual timescales.
  • Liaise with the Design Team continuously and ensure design deliverables are managed and tracked regularly on the programme including its impact on procurement and installations.
  • Liaise with the Quality & Assurance team continuously and ensure hand over deliverables are managed and tracked regularly on programme including its impact on test & completion as well as completion.
  • Liaise with the Commercial team continuously and ensure project control deliverables are managed and tracked regularly from the programme.
  • Ensure all cost and delay impacts are shared with the team with any mitigation measures recorded on the programme for inclusion within the submission to the client.
  • Liaise with the Procurement team continuously and ensure material procurement deliverables are managed and tracked regularly from the programme including any impact to the budget, Target Price and installation.
  • Liaise with the Operations & Delivery team continuously and ensure installation deliverables are managed and tracked regularly on the clause 32 programme and on the 4 Week Look Ahead programme. Ensure Look Ahead programmes are issued on a weekly basis.

What do we need from you

Essential:

  • Previous experience in M&E projects
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and methodical working style.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Desirable:

  • Rail sector knowledge
  • Team leadership skills and ability to line manage.
