- Lead the MEP design for rail projects, including stations, depots, and trackside facilities. Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project specifications.
- Manage the MEP scope of work within the rail project, ensuring timely delivery and within budget. Monitor project progress and quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the MEP team, including junior engineers and subcontractors. Ensure proper communication between disciplines (structural, civil, electrical, mechanical).
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure integrated and optimized solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and solutions to resolve MEP-related issues during construction and commissioning phases.
- Oversee site installations, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising system performance or safety.
- Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and as-built drawings. Ensure proper record-keeping for all MEP-related activities.
- Ensure that all MEP systems are designed, installed, and operated in compliance with local standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in MEP engineering, with at least 5 years in the rail or transportation sector.
- Extensive experience in the design and installation of MEP systems for large infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
