About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team in Kuwait. In this pivotal role, you will provide technical leadership on major infrastructure projects while driving innovation in geotechnical design and analysis. You will work collaboratively across disciplines, mentor junior engineers, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.   • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to a team of geotechnical engineers working on major infrastructure, energy, and development projects across the region
  • Conduct comprehensive design analysis, field investigation planning, and prepare professional technical reports that meet international standards and client requirements
  • Manage geotechnical investigation and design projects from inception through completion, ensuring accountability for project scope, schedule, quality, safety, and cost control
  • Perform site reviews and inspections during conceptual, investigation, and construction phases, identifying and resolving complex geotechnical issues with innovative solutions
  • Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams including structural engineers, architects, and environmental specialists on joint proposals and integrated projects
  • Serve as primary liaison with clients, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and contractors, maintaining transparent communication and fostering positive long-term relationships
  • Mentor and provide geotechnical design training to junior and mid-level staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Actively participate in business development initiatives, establishing and maintaining strategic client relationships that support organizational growth
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and at industry conferences
  • Stay current with emerging geotechnical technologies, international best practices, and regional standards applicable to Middle Eastern construction environments

What do we need from you

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent professional engineering credential recognized internationally
  • Minimum 15 years of consulting experience in geotechnical engineering with demonstrated expertise in major infrastructure projects
  • Extensive experience designing foundations for large-scale infrastructure, including airports, bridges, rail systems, and energy facilities
  • Proven track record of successfully completing complex geotechnical projects and managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable geotechnical codes, standards, and regulations including international guidelines and Middle Eastern construction practices
  • Substantial construction inspection and site management experience with demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex geotechnical challenges
  • Advanced proficiency in geotechnical software packages such as Plaxis, GeoStudio, or equivalent modeling and analysis tools
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences
  • Strong project management capabilities including managing multiple concurrent projects, meeting deadlines, and controlling budgets effectively
  • Demonstrated experience working with and leading multi-disciplinary project teams with proven ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with capacity to develop innovative solutions to challenging geotechnical problems

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Graduate degree (Master's or PhD) in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related discipline
  • International project experience, particularly in the Middle East or similar arid/desert environments
  • Familiarity with Gulf region construction practices, geotechnical standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers with commitment to fostering professional growth
  • Track record of preparing and presenting technical content at industry conferences and professional forums
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with emerging technologies in geotechnical engineering
  • Experience with business development and client relationship management in consulting environments
