- Create and implement best practice in Water department, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance.
- Ensure that strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
- Client relationship management and establish long term relationships for repeat engagements.
- Provide leadership to department under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.
- To provide optimum design solutions, technology selection, identification and mitigation of risk during pre-bid and post-bid stages.
- Review & finalize schedules to meet contractual requirements.
- Monitor progress and design quantity regularly.
- To get Timely approvals of deliverables from customer/client consultants for timely completion of projects.
- Interact understand customer’s needs and expectations to enable the effective delivery of quality services.
- Responsible for responding to all customer enquiries promptly, positively.
- Resource optimization & time management to handle various jobs (tenders & operating jobs) running concurrently to meet the timeline for submission of deliverables as required.
- Cost Control by constantly monitoring the actual quantities during post bid engineering are not exceeding the tender quantities.
Graduate in relevant engineering and Master’s Degree in Environment/ Water Resources or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing complex projects.
- 15-20 years experience in the sectors such as water, waste water, solid waste management, public health engineering, irrigation, and/or urban infrastructure.
- A proven track record of working on complex, large scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience of coordinating with major clients and government authorities
- Experience developing and managing complex budgets and pricing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage risk
