About the Role

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager to join our Finance team based in Hong Kong.  The successful candidate will manage daily finance, accounting and controlling activities, drive and manage the monthly reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual budget and mid-term strategy, and project implementation, and the CFO to provide financial insights and solutions to continuously improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), tax laws and company policies;
  • Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets, enhance the accuracy of financial data, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Manage and drive the budgeting process, quarterly forecasting process, and mid-term strategy planning process including the creation, analysis, and review of financial forecasts and the development of strategies to address variances between budgeted and actual figures;
  • Lead the internal and external audit process, coordinating with auditors and tax representatives to ensure the efficient and timely completion of annual audits and tax filings, and address any findings or recommendations and/ or mitigate any tax risks;
  • Manage the company cashflow and optimize the capital efficiency;
  • Coordinate tax planning and compliance activities;
  • Perform periodic review of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
  • Implement and maintain financial information systems to improve reporting capabilities, operational efficiency, and data integrity, including the integration of new financial software solutions (Oracle and Tagetik).
  • Support processes enhancement across finance and business operation;
  • Provide in-depth analysis (e.g. Revenue, GP and SG&A) of financial performance with quality commentary;
  • Report to and support CFO being a business partner to work closely with business stakeholders to support company decision with facts and figures.

What do we need from you

Ideal candidates must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting with professional accreditation such as HKICPA or equivalent;
  • Large audit firms or MNC experience in Architecture industry will be highly considered;
  • Over 8 years relevant working experience with at least 3 years people management experience with a team of 10 or more;
  • Reasonable knowledge of Project accounting;
  • Strong hands-on experience of Excel and PPT, and sound knowledge of Oracle are preferred;
  • Organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, manage deadlines and work under pressure;
  • Leadership, analytical & problem-solving skills to direct the team to accomplish finance and accounting duties and tasks in meeting deadlines;
  • Business conscious, willing to accept challenges and changes as well as detail-minded;
  • High level of integrity and a sense of confidentiality;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Immediately available will be a definite advantage.
