About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Engineer specializing in Wet Utilities to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our Infrastructure Team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing complex wet utility systems for large-scale projects.

  • Lead the design and development of wet utility systems, including potable water, sewer, storm, irrigation, district cooling, and firefighting networks
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of wet utility systems with other infrastructure components
  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling to inform design decisions and evaluate system performance
  • Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for wet utility projects
  • Perform quality assurance and control checks on project deliverables to maintain high standards of excellence
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in wet utilities engineering
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address technical inquiries and provide expert advice
  • Contribute to business development efforts by participating in proposal preparation and client presentations

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in wet utilities engineering
  • Proven expertise in designing wet utility systems, including potable water, sewer, storm, irrigation, district cooling, and firefighting networks
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages, including HEC HMS, HEC RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, and SWMM
  • Experience with ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, and HAMMER is a plus
  • Advanced skills in Civil 3D software for BIM environment
  • Knowledge of clash resolution utilities modeling software such as Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, and Autodesk Civil 3D
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to wet utilities
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead large-scale projects
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
  • Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
