About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in Hydrology to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead complex hydrological projects, conduct advanced analyses, and provide expert guidance on water resource management initiatives.

  • Develop and implement sophisticated hydrological models to assess water resources and flood risks
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams on large-scale water resource projects
  • Conduct detailed hydrological analyses and interpret complex data sets
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hydrological considerations into broader engineering projects
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in the field of hydrology
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team
  • Ensure compliance with local and international water regulations and policies
  • Participate in business development activities and proposal writing

What do we need from you

  • Master's degree in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in hydrology or water resources engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of hydrological modeling software such as HEC-HMS and SWMM
  • Proficiency in GIS software, including ArcGIS or QGIS
  • Strong data analysis and statistical skills
  • Excellent technical writing and report preparation abilities
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python or R
  • Demonstrated experience in flood risk assessment and management
  • Project management experience, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • In-depth understanding of hydrological processes and water resource management
  • Knowledge of local and international water regulations and policies
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
