- Perform high level technical quality works, to program and to budget and able to manage projects as required
- Liaise with the client and subcontractors to ensure the design work is delivered on time and to budget
- Coordinate with other discipline engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process
- Conduct Coastal Modelling-related project tasks and perform the design of coastal and marine elements of the project
- Review project standards and documents to assure the submitted drawings and documents are compatible and aligned with the overall project objectives
- Prepare design package including technical report, drawings, calculations, BOQ and specifications
- Provide technical support to construction supervision team
- Liaises with authorities and support the project team in obtaining required permits
- University Degree in Coastal / Oceanography/ Marine Structures Marine / Civil Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of related work experience in coastal engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Consultancy work experience in the Middle East
- Experience in project management and proposal preparation
- Availability to travel within the Middle East as required
- Extensive Experience in the planning and design of coastal and marine structures including breakwaters, revetments, marinas, artificial beach, and islands, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of coastal modelling including hydrodynamic, waves and sediment transport modelling
- Experience with numerical modeling tools such as Delft3D tools, TELEMAC, SWAN, and / or MIKE by DHI suite
- Knowledge of marine and coastal engineering design standards and guidelines
- Professional level in using MS Office Suite
- Experience in Marine geotechnics is desirable
