We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ELV BIM Modeler to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our ELV design and coordination processes.
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for ELV systems, including security, fire alarm, and telecommunications
- Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, and MEP) to resolve conflicts and optimize system layouts
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications
- Perform clash detection and generate coordination reports
- Create and manage ELV equipment schedules and specifications
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with design teams and stakeholders
- Mentor junior BIM modelers and provide technical guidance
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and ELV industry trends
- Contribute to the development and improvement of BIM standards and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in ELV BIM modeling, preferably in large-scale commercial or industrial projects
- Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD MEP
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including security, fire alarm, and telecommunications
- Excellent 3D modeling and coordination skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to ELV systems
- BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred
- Demonstrated experience in MEP coordination
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Willingness to stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and ELV industry trends
