About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Amman, Jordan. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in electrical services design and coordination, with a strong focus on innovative solutions and project delivery.
- Lead and oversee complex electrical engineering projects from conception to completion
- Develop and review electrical designs, ensuring compliance with local and international standards
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines
- Produce and review technical documentation, including reports, specifications, drawings, and calculations
- Manage design interfaces and integration processes across various project phases
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for all electrical engineering deliverables
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
- Conduct technical presentations and lead meetings with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in electrical engineering
- Contribute to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient electrical solutions
- Ensure project deliverables meet budget and schedule requirements
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
- Proven experience in electrical services design and coordination for large-scale projects
- In-depth knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Familiarity with international electrical engineering standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE)
- Experience with power distribution systems and renewable energy projects
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and BIM software
- Strong skills in producing technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and drawings
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems and manage design interfaces
- Excellent understanding of electrical systems from technical, design, installation, and maintenance perspectives
- Proficiency in engineering software tools such as Trimble/Amtech Pro Design, Dialux
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to deliver work on time and within budget
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead meetings effectively
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
