We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Amman, Jordan. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading complex electrical engineering projects, with a focus on high voltage systems and power distribution.
Prepare detailed electrical designs for buildings (power, lighting, grounding, lightning protection).
Perform load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop, and short-circuit studies using AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Trimble, etc.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international standards (IEC, NEC, BS, NFPA).
Coordinate with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to resolve design interfaces.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and CAD/BIM modelers.
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering,
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Electrical/MEP, Dialux EVO, and Trimble
- Strong knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and safety practices
- Experience in design review and approval processes for large-scale electrical projects
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site project work
